Karen Chambers – There are no words that can describe the past few months as we make sense and come to terms with the loss of a most beautiful and brave lady at the age of 47 years. We miss you so much, and our lives will never be the same again. We will always love you and you will be forever in our thoughts and hearts.

Missed so much, not just at Christmas. Those happy memories you left us with will last a lifetime x

Mum, you passed away 20th December 2020, 2 months and 2 days after dad. We are still in shock a year on, how cruel it was that you were taken from us as well as uncle Ed and dad in the same year. Despite us being absolutely devastated we understand that you didn’t want to be separated from dad after 58 years together. The only comfort we have is knowing you are back together, side by side where you belong. We did this for dad and uncle Ed and their lights shine bright on the Christmas tree so this is for you mum.

Chris loved Christmas and the joy it brings to families and individuals alike. Her birthday was on the 21st December and our daughters wedding anniversary on the 22nd, so a very happy time with lots to celebrate. Chris was a Christian and had faith that Jesus would help her through the difficult times, which I am sure he did. Our Christmas festivities started by attending the carol service at the Cathedral and then getting ready for the big day with our daughter and her family. She took so much pleasure in giving and seeing the joy that it brought to others – that is what I remember about her at this time of year.

2nd Christmas without you Marv. Always used to like singing A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chirs De Burgh to you because it always made you chuckle! I don't go a day without thinking about you . Miss you Marv my best friend in the world and Brother. Forever in my thoughts gone but never forgotten. Love always Carl,Andrea,Frankie and Annie 🐾
