My friend Brigitte is from Australia and visited Lincoln every two years when she came to England for a holiday she was very dear to me we met on holiday in Whitby in 1997 and wrote to each other sadly on my birthday this year she passed away aged 66 I’ve just found out from a family member. Brigitte thank you for many years of happiness and our strong friendship I will treasure it forever. God bless you my dear friend xx

I remember opening our Christmas stockings on your bed & all the effort you always made to make our Christmasses special. Having to try and stop you from spending too much but the presents always overflowing out from under the Christmas tree. Love & miss you, Txxx

Missed Mum more this year than ever before. I became a Granny and would so loved her to have met baby Martha Melly.

They all went too soon and leaving a hole in our lives but also a huge amount of happy memories. The pain we feel at their loss represents the huge love we have for them.

We remember them frequently: with a smile, a tale retold, a song they loved, a phrase they used and how they made our lives richer. They may not be here in body but they remain with us in our hearts x

Both men loved life and lived it to the full. They left huge holes in our families which will never be filled. They are loved and missed tremendously each and every day especially on special days. Remembered always, forgotten never.
