Dear Nan, you were the light of our lives and the heartbeat of our family. Losing you so suddenly has left a void that can never be filled. Our lives will never be the same without you, but I promise you will never be forgotten nor will the ones you lost in your life either. Dad loved Christmas! He was always so generous with his time and with his gifts. He liked to make a real fuss of people.

My Dad was the most brilliant man. Master goldsmith and silversmith, Freeman of the City of London. He was kind, courageous and utterly charming. He fought for the causes that would affect generations below him and gave so much of himself to our local community.
I miss him with all my heart, every day.
