As parents they were always there for us and have taught us so much. As we grow older and now have Grand children of our own we understand how important the love of family is and appreciate all their love for us, everyone deserves to be always lived and remembered, even they are no longer here in the living world! Xx

Barrie used to pretend he wasn't bothered about Christmas but deep down I know he did, being close to family and all the grandchildren is what made him the happiest, miss him and his silly ways so much and always will.

I miss you each and every day but take comfort in the knowledge that your light will always shine brightly in my life.

Christmas was something we looked forward to as a family and it brought us all together from Yorkshire, the North East and overseas. Sadly, with the passing of so many it has now become a solo event, with time for reflection of those wonderful times.

Sylvia adored Christmas, it was her favourite time of year. This will be our first Christmas without her but to know her light will shine this Christmas brings comfort.

Every Christmas we would all get together at our house, play games,sing it was such a lovely time

Dad, I don't know how to make the stuffing like you and grandad did so dinner can never be the same. Thank you for the years you kept opening the kitchen door, always at the wrong time, and rolling your eyes at my obsessive list checking. No one else can take that place. I miss you.

Mom, although this will be our first xmas apart we know your are now safe in Gods hands. Our memories of you at this time of year will make us all smile, and you are only ever a though and a prayer away from us all. We all miss you dearly, love you forever Mom. Chris – Although 8 years ago, not a day goes by when I don’t think of my mum. Far more than when she was with us – a lesson to be shared – hug your mum tight if you are still lucky enough to have her. My mum passed away aged 63. We knew her wishes and we were honored to support her decision in the sharing of her organs. Two people’s lives were saved that day, many more improved and that is the little light at the end of dark path of sadness. She lives on, somewhere. Her gift made sure those people’s families got to celebrate another year with their loved one, and for that I am immensely proud of her. Best mum, kind to the core. X
