It's always hard at this time of year and things don't get any easier. However, I have many fond memories, which make me laugh, cry and smile.

Presents on the sofa, chocolate before breakfast, letters from santa and the anticipation of opening the lounge door, chestnuts and stuffing, pudding when we are stuffed. Then walks to the park with the dogs in all our new clothes and buffet tea that we all wanted but didnt need, tuna and sweetcorn vol au vents and quiche, christmas cake love it or hate it, then tele snuggled together, new pyjamas 'father chistmas' and his happy blooming christmas

I am remembering my loving mother who sadly passed away on 4Th July 2018. She is always missed and will forever be loved.

Till we meet again my sweet, gentle and loving mother RIP.

Not a day goes by that we don’t think of you, but Christmas brings your memory even closer. We can almost see you with a glass of red in hand, laughter lighting up the room just like you always did. You filled our lives with warmth, kindness, and joy — and that light still shines in our hearts. Cheers to you, always.

We always put the baubles on the tree for you mum. Each year you took us to see the lights in town and every year you made a huge Christmas cake. We always brought gifts for the dogs and always had the most beautiful food.

Mom, although this will be our first xmas apart we know your are now safe in Gods hands. Our memories of you at this time of year will make us all smile, and you are only ever a though and a prayer away from us all. We all miss you dearly, love you forever Mom. Emma is our daughter, born 14 June 1988, who stayed with us for just one day. We have taken part in the Light a Light procession every year since, this is her part of Christmas.

Tilly is our first grandchild, born March 2020, whom we have not been able to meet and cuddle yet due to the COVID Pandemic and travel restrictions across the World. Instead of being able to show her the Christmas Tree in person, to have her own light shining on it is the next best thing.

Mum lived all her life in Nettleham and did flower sales in support of St Barnabas. She passed away at the hospice in January 2022. She lived Christmas and her family and is sorely missed.

Missing you sweetheart, you were what made our Christmas’s special. Xx

I lost my dad 10 years ago suddenly, but my mum we lost in January 2020 after her 2 year battle with cancer, so last Christmas was our last, she was very poorly at this time but we treasured every moment we had with her.

Remembered every day with love our beautiful Mum and Nana, whose caring heart of gold beats no more. Gone too soon so suddenly but never forgotten; every moment of our lives touched by memories, to remain in our hearts and minds always and forever. Love and miss you!
