During my daughter’s life we would often attend events to raise money for St Barnabas not thinking that one day at age 30 she would receive amazing care from the hospice nurses. We miss her everyday but especially at Christmas when we all get together.

My Dear Husband taken so quickly and loved so much. I don't know what I am going to do without you. Our Anniversary 14th December and would be for 52 years, I have known nothing else in my lifetime.
I love you so much and will forever miss you. Life will never be the same for me and the family.

Christmas is not the same without you Mum, but I still keep up our tradition of watching “”A Christmas Carol” a film we both loved. I remember us always wishing it would snow for Christmas. I miss the times that you came to mine for Christmas when the children were young and you always brought with you a box of Christmas goodies, vegetables and fruit. Have a Heavenly Christmas Mum. Remembering Margaret and Vince Doran, my partner Angela’s Mum and Dad, in her first Christmas without both of them

Bill always used to stand outside the toilet when I was in there brushing my teeth and sing really loudly or pretend to fly like a plane with his arms in the air, he always made me laugh.

Christmas was always a special time between my Dad and I. Always big on traditions, we would go pick out a tree together, decorate it and the house whilst listening to Christmas music and eating mince pies!
This year marks 5 years since he passed away, and I have struggled to uphold these traditions the past 5 years, but I finally feel like I will be able to get back to them this year with the fond memories of Christmases past and smile knowing he would be happy that I can get back to enjoying a holiday that I have always loved.

Merry Christmas Dad. I love and miss you everyday. I hope that I do you proud with my Christmas tree choice!! 🙂 xxxx
