Mum, each day is a little darker without you so I hope this brings a little light. I hope we are making you proud. We vow to always stick together even though nothing is the same. Sometimes it feels as though you're here with us, just a little out of reach. Some days we could do with your honest (and probably brutal) advice, to make us see the right path. We will continue to work hard every day and support each other as you taught us.

Christmas has lost its sparkle for me since the loss of both my soulmate, David, and many of our respective family members. I still embrace the religious significance, but sorely miss our family getting together to enjoy this very special celebration.

Another massive void was left in my life, the day you returned to Grandad and Mum's arms, but I was fortunate to have you by my side for so long. Forever grateful for the love and happy memories you left behind. I will hold onto those, until we meet again my beautiful Nanna.

Eric was a special human being, he was the leader of our family. A role model that all could up to, who you could count on to check how you were and the only true representation of our family.

My darling Dor 6 years on & Christmas is not quite the same without you . I miss you more at this time of the year.

Mum passed away 2 years ago and would've been 80 this November. She loved a party and getting dressed up, the sparklier the better!
