You were always there for our family, in good times and in bad. We shared so many good times together…..New Year dances in Newark big family Christmas Days and holidays. You are thought of every day and we often talk about the times we spent together, which we will hold in our hearts forever.

Lisa was diagnosed with terminal Melanoma in 2020 and when the time came was cared for, as she had wished, by the wonderful " Angels" that work at the St Barnabas Hospice in Lincoln. I can say without a moments hesitation that from the second we arrived at the Hospice the care and attention that was shown to Lisa and all our family was simply unbelievable in every way. We will always be thankful for those last few days that made a heart breaking time a little more bearable for us all. I am not a particularly religious person but i say "God bless each and everyone of you". Thank you and Happy Christmas to you all.

Christmas is not the same without you Mum, but I still keep up our tradition of watching “”A Christmas Carol” a film we both loved. I remember us always wishing it would snow for Christmas. I miss the times that you came to mine for Christmas when the children were young and you always brought with you a box of Christmas goodies, vegetables and fruit. Have a Heavenly Christmas Mum. I’ve never met you, but want to say how wonderful your daughter is. There were times I didn’t think I would make it through the year, but she has saved me in more ways than she’ll ever know and I will be forever grateful.

You should be sooooo proud of her and I know she misses you so much.

We always put the baubles on the tree for you mum. Each year you took us to see the lights in town and every year you made a huge Christmas cake. We always brought gifts for the dogs and always had the most beautiful food.
