RIP Mom. hope you are at peace with everyone and looking after Benji. God bless, miss you x x
I miss you playing little jingles to wake us up on Christmas morning. I miss the smile on your face and excitement in yours eyes when you present us with Christmas stockings – that you STILL did for us all even as adults each year. I miss the strange/odd gifts you used to buy me that you thought I’d love! I miss seeing you dancing and singing to ‘rocking around the Christmas tree’ (usually in something red!) in the kitchen while we prepped and cooked Christmas dinner together… and so much more besides.
I regret that you never saw me happy with Russ who I met the year after you passed and I am saddened that you never got to hold your Grandchild Oakley. But you live on in all of us and Russ tells me he feels like he knows you as I speak of you so often and Oakley will feel the same in time I’m sure it – he already has a lot of love for ‘Nanny Bear’ who he kisses and cuddles often. I tell him he has to be a good boy as Nanny is always watching and checking in on him!
We miss you Mum, our sun moon and stars xxxxxx
Daniel, Not having you with us all to celebrate Christmas is not something we will ever get use to. This year our first without you will be so hard however Ethan, Harper and I will try to smile and fill it full of laughter like you would have done. Your sense of humour is what got us all through the hardest of times. We will all use this same outlook on life at Christmas to make it as special as it can be. You will be in our thoughts and in all that we do xx You are so missed, yet still loved so much xx
St Barnabes allowed us all as a family to have that quality time. The children were able to spend time with their Dad in a comfortable and safe setting. The staff went above and beyond for us all and embraced Dans wicked sense of humour. They made him feel safe and cared for him with such compassion and dignity. We were all looked after nothing was ever too much trouble. The most important thing they did was allowed us to have some extra time and memories.
Having a light shine in honour of Dan warms our hearts and gives us some comfort.
It was never goodbye but see you soon
Every day is a Dan day
Forever loved
Always Vicky, Ethan and Harper xx

Remembering my lovely dad and brother, this will be the first year without them both and my world will never be the same. Wishing you both a happy heavenly Christmas, always by my side and never forgotten love Susan xxxx
I miss my beautiful daughter Lesley everyday, and always donate to Light up a Light and raise funds by holding a coffee morning. Lesley always enjoyed her weekly trips to St. Barnabas to socialise with other people in a similar position to herself. Her last few days were spent in St. Barnabas where she had tender loving care. My only child she left met the best legacy of all – a wonderful grandaughter and grandson. I now have 4 great grandchildren and I know Lesley would be so proud of them all. xxxxx
In memory of my beautiful sister Donna Markham, who sadly passed away last year. Lovingly looked after by the staff at St Barnabas.
