My dad absolutely loved life and Christmas, he was a wonderful man and st barnabas was amazing with his end of life care ????

Remembering my wonderful Grandma and lovely Grandad. My Grandma who would drink Baileys glass after glass and then say “is Baileys non-alcoholic?” And my Grandad who would always crack open a bottle of wine the minute we stepped through the door. Merry Christmas my Angels x

Wonderful memories of great times spent together. Adrenalin-fuelled planning, 'who' was coming and 'when'? Last minute shopping a certainty! The fraught stages of prep forgotten as the day filled with love, laughter, and good cheer. Remembered now with great love as that Christmas Table shrinks, albeit gradually.

When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.

In memory of Mum, 25 years on, I remember you sitting in your fluffy 'click-clack' slippers watching us open our presents, from our pillowcases, then on to a breakfast of ham and eggs… passing those traditions on to the grandchildren, you never got to meet … and thanks to the care at St B, never forgotten always loved. My grandma collected on behalf of St Barnabas for many years prior to her sad passing. I spent the majority of my Christmas’s with her, sharing the festive day which normally ended with some games of scrabble, of course, she always won! In honour of all the work she did to help St Barnabas, I want to carry on her legacy by supporting this charity which was very close to her heart.

David was a much loved husband, father and grandad. He loved Christmas so is always especially missed at this time. Santa usually brought him a bottle of malt whisky so glasses will be raised in David's memory this Christmas.
