Always loved and missed.
In memory of Mum, 25 years on, I remember you sitting in your fluffy 'click-clack' slippers watching us open our presents, from our pillowcases, then on to a breakfast of ham and eggs… passing those traditions on to the grandchildren, you never got to meet … and thanks to the care at St B, never forgotten always loved. My dad passed away 15 days ago at home with me holding his hand. I can not thank St Barnabas hospice home care enough for how they looked after my dad in his final week and how they supported me also. So much care and empathy from the nurses that tended to my dad. I will forever be grateful. Thank you

Thinking of our mums ????????
Chris loved Christmas and the joy it brings to families and individuals alike. Her birthday was on the 21st December and our daughters wedding anniversary on the 22nd, so a very happy time with lots to celebrate. Chris was a Christian and had faith that Jesus would help her through the difficult times, which I am sure he did. Our Christmas festivities started by attending the carol service at the Cathedral and then getting ready for the big day with our daughter and her family. She took so much pleasure in giving and seeing the joy that it brought to others – that is what I remember about her at this time of year.
We miss you everyday clarkey but at Christmas your absence is felt the most…your favourite time of the year! xxxx
