Thinking of you Mum and Dad, and missing you always

So many fond memories of Christmas with you both. Granddad telling me the combination lock for the bike that was hidden was new fashion item is one of my favourites. Along with eating Christmas Dinner off the door covered with a tablecloth as a makeshift table.
Nan you left us at Christmastime and it will always be bitter sweet but these memories make it brighter.

Our first Christmas without Mum and it will feel very empty. Mum was always the life and soul of any gathering at Christmas and throughout the year and will be hugely missed. We will especially miss her delicious Christmas pudding! I’ll be raising a glass to Mum and hope she’ll be doing the same along with all her friends & family. Love always xxx

Remembering a very special stepdad at this time of year, we think of you everyday and you will stay forever in our hearts. This will be the first Christmas without you and it won’t seem right not writing and sending a special Christmas card to you. Your light will shine on the tree and bring us comfort as will the light on our Christmas tree. As we decorate our tree we shall be remembering you with loving affection and although it will bring a tear your light will bring us comfort. Always in my thoughts mum

Dad passed away in March this year and Christmas just won't be the same this year. Every Christmas he would send a lovely card to all of his Grandchildren and on the back of the envelope he would always put a smiley face sticker. Every birthday he would do the same. The kids would always look forward to the cards and sticker on the back. He did this for many many years. At his funeral we stuck a smiley face sticker on his coffin. He would have laughed his unmistakable laugh at this as he had a great sense of humour. We love and miss you dearly Dad /Grandad and now Great Grandad xxx

Daddy was unique, a classical tenor, a jack of all trades, mastering most, he built our family home in Greece himself, taught us independence and to enjoy the little things, breaking free of generational shackles to love and support us with our Mummy. We are lucky to have had you in this life as our Daddy. We love you and will miss you fiercely.
