Remembering my dear husband this Christmas as I do every day since June 2018 when he passed away. I know he would want me to say thanks once again for the tender care he received from your wonderful nurses. I will be forever grateful, thankyou.
My friend Brigitte is from Australia and visited Lincoln every two years when she came to England for a holiday she was very dear to me we met on holiday in Whitby in 1997 and wrote to each other sadly on my birthday this year she passed away aged 66 I’ve just found out from a family member. Dad, I don't know how to make the stuffing like you and grandad did so dinner can never be the same. Thank you for the years you kept opening the kitchen door, always at the wrong time, and rolling your eyes at my obsessive list checking. No one else can take that place. I miss you.

My lovely Dad passed away 27th August 2020 . He was the most amazing Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad. He was known as Poppy Jim to all the children. We miss him more than we could ever have imagined. My Dad had csmcer a few years ago, he fought and won but the treatment caused complications and more illness which led to his passing. This is our first christmas without my lovely Dad and I know it will be for many others too. Sending love to every one of you x
