Wonderful parents, together again, but so sadly missed.

The relationship between Roger and his Hospice at Home nurses epitomises the Christmas message of love and hope through the birth of Jesus. Roger's faith sustained him and, I believe, all who helped with his care that enabled him to be at home till the end.

This is the 10th Christmas without you.
Another year too of you not playing Father Christmas for the playgroup.
All the family will be thinking of you. Xx

Probably his least favourite time of year but I’m sure he’d rather be with us in his tacky Christmas waistcoat. We certainly wish he was still sat at the other end of the Christmas table for years to come.

Thank you to the fabulous hospice team for their care and support in my dad’s final weeks. Christmas is about love and you all show so much of the true meaning of Christmas.

Dad, somehow it’s been a year since you passed. You live on in all our hearts and minds. I know you’re at peace now and look forward to the day we meet again. Until then keep looking down upon us all and know I will always do my best to make you proud. Love always Adam x
