Dedicating a light to my dad who loved Christmas and made it so magical for us as children, and then for my children. Always look for the brightest star in the sky.

Mum loved Lincoln Cathedral at night, especially at Christmas when it was surrounded by Christmas trees. To know that she is being remembered by having a light dedicated to her this Christmas makes it very special.

Merry Christmas Grandad. We are missing you lots but I hope you have a beer in your hand watching down. Its not the same without you here. Love you always our hero.

Steve died on 26th April 2023 at St Barnabus Hospice in Grantham after being diagnosed with cancer 5 months previously. Steve is dearly missed by me and his children and grandchildren.

Wonderful memories of great times spent together. Adrenalin-fuelled planning, 'who' was coming and 'when'? Last minute shopping a certainty! The fraught stages of prep forgotten as the day filled with love, laughter, and good cheer. Remembered now with great love as that Christmas Table shrinks, albeit gradually.

This will be my first Christmas without my beloved Florence, and I sadly miss her with all my heart. I know that this is what Florence would have wanted as St Barnabas made her last days comfortable.
