Ray loved his garden, spending all his spare time tending to his plants, watching them established over the years. He passed away in November 2020 from a brain tumour age 57. My amazing grandma and great grandma always loved to be put in the garden. Weather it would be picking up the weeds, or planting shrubs, they were always busy and so very proud of their gardens. When my grandma passed away, I took cuttings from some of their plants and I am growing them to this day.

Tony Brown

From Mrs. Sue Brown

Many lovely memories I have of Tony. One of them was when he was sat outside the front door admiring the garden in the sunshine when a baby bird landed on his head. He couldn't move for ages. I don't know who was more stunned him or the bird! He so loved nature and to us it was a happy event. I smile thinking back on it.

June Bradford & William Bradford

From Mrs. Christine Robson

Mum loved her garden and definitely had "green fingers" which I sadly have not inherited. Dad was also a keen gardener and spent many hours in his allotment or "down the plot" as he used to say. The wildflower card is a beautiful memory for them both who are much missed.
