Grandma and Grandad loved walking. They would walk for miles and miles until both of them preferred resting in their armchairs, more than hiking. Tracey White

From Mr. Trevor White

Tracey spent her last days at Lincoln Hospice and I used to get very upset when I had to leave her each day until 1 day one of the nurses saw how distressed I was when I was getting ready to go home and asked if I would want to stay the night which I jumped at the chance, they said it would have to be 2 beds pushed together in a small room for now as there were only women in the Hospice. The nurses were wonderful and some stayed after their shift to arrange it !!
I ended up staying with Tracey for the last 11 days and nights of her life and cannot thank them enough for their compassion and love they gave ❤
