Are you an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist who is looking to develop your skills in Palliative Rehabilitation and specialising in a role within St Barnabas Hospice?
We have two positions, as follows:
Our new Wellbeing Hub will be opening later this year and the successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop the service for the people of Boston, which will be the are of focus for one position, with the other focusing on our Lincoln / North Lincolnshire quadrant.
This is an exciting opportunity for autonomous, highly motivated and dynamic Physiotherapist to work within St Barnabas Community Services. You will work within a supportive Multi-Disciplinary Team - delivering Palliative Rehabilitation to those patients with a range of Complex Symptom Management needs..
You will need:
- Degree (BSc/MSc) in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with current registration with the HCPC.
- Experience with management of Respiratory, Oncological, Frailty, Neurological Conditions.
- Recent post-registration experience in a relevant area; i.e. Acute Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Palliative Care or Community Therapies.
You will be:
- Able to develop Palliative Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy Practice in line with current and appropriate Evidence Base.
- Able to perform the role with empathy and consideration for the needs of a range of patients and their families.
- Able to adapt effectively to varying levels of demand and to support less experienced staff to maintain high levels of care.
