St Barnabas Hospice is an established Project ECHO Hub in Lincolnshire. Echo is a platform for building communities of practice for sharing of knowledge and experience.
The role of the ECHO is to spread palliative and end of life expertise beyond traditional boundaries and to ensure the end of life care we offer to patients is as good as we would want for our own families across healthcare services in Lincolnshire.
Whilst this is not a direct patient facing clinical role, you will still be able to make a difference through enhancing the delivery of services, using the platform of ECHO to enable Hospice Care and principles to be delivered in any setting.
The post holder will have a registered clinical qualification to provide the expertise to achieve required programme outcomes. They will support the delivery of commissioned contracts for project ECHO across the County of Lincolnshire. There will be a requirement to negotiate and work alongside key suppliers/stakeholders and internal staff to build networks of practice to improve palliative and end of life care outcomes for patients and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
The post holder will require a registered professional qualification and have excellent organisational and communication skills with knowledge of delivering clinical projects across different settings and to external providers across the county.
The post holder will require excellent planning and organisational skills and be proficient in IT including Microsoft packages.
