We have an exciting opportunity to join our Shops team as a Sales Assistant in our Wragby Rd shop. You will work with the Shop Manager to help deliver maximum profit, control costs, generate stock and nurture a St Barnabas hub at the heart of your community. You will have key-holding responsibilities and will cover for the Shop Manager on their days off, holidays and absences.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applications are welcome from candidates with GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent, plus an NVQ or equivalent in a retail/commercial, customer-led or fashion-based area would be desirable.

You will have experience in retail preferably in the charity and/or commercial sector, with some people supervision and financial target achieving experience. A passion for charity retail, with social media, fashion and collectable knowledge and experience is essential. Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time: 37.5 hrs per week

Salary: £18,525 - £19,305 per annum, (plus contributory pension scheme or continuation of NHS pension)

Buying and selling of annual leave and lease car schemes are options available to qualifying new employees.
