Tanglewood Care Homes
Tanglewood Care Homes is Lincolnshire’s largest private care home provider with six care homes across the county in Alford, Boston, Coningsby, Horncastle, Lincoln and Spalding.
Thirty years after it opened its first home in 1989, Tanglewood remains an independent, family-run business.
Tanglewood’s care homes, which are all rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, provide the highest standards of residential, dementia, nursing, end-of-life and respite care to their residents.
By putting quality of care and accommodation at the forefront of what they do, Tanglewood can provide each resident with an unrivalled level of support and a fulfilling retirement.
Their passion for care has been recognised with a number of local, regional and national awards. At the 2018 National Care Home Awards, the group brought three coveted awards back to Lincolnshire – Best Specialist Care, Best Small Care Home Group and Best for Non-clinical Services.
“It is our pleasure and honour to sponsor St Barnabas’ ‘Forget Me Not’ campaign – a meaning which is close to our hearts at Tanglewood having opened the ‘Forget Me Not Café’ and ‘Forget Me Not Court’ garden wing at Hunters Creek Care Home in Boston last year.
“At Tanglewood, we are one large family community, and like all families, there are times of great happiness and celebration and times when we mourn the loss of a family member.
“This campaign is all about remembering the people we have loved and lost. At Tanglewood, we will plant our six Forget Me Not flowers – one for each of our Lincolnshire homes – in commemoration of all the residents, families and team members that have touched our hearts over the past 30 years.
“This powerful event will turn heads and encourage a time of reflection for many. I hope people will generously support this excellent campaign and buy their own forget me not flower.”
