The team at Running Imp have turned their hand to pretty much anything they could in order to raise funds for St Barnabas Hospice.
Chief Executive, Chris Illsley, walked 2013 miles in 2013, and the team also took part in the fun-filled ‘It’s a Knockout’ event. They have arranged dress down days, and even abseiled down the Grimsby Dock Tower. On top of these activities, the firm also donated 25p for every invoice raised, and donated 1p per medal ordered throughout 2013. In 2013, they raised an amazing £18,430 for St Barnabas.
“Our reasons for choosing St Barnabas are two fold. Firstly, we felt it would be appropriate to support a local charity in our 25th anniversary year. The Hospice has been providing care and support free of charge to people living with a life-limiting or terminal illness for over three decades here in Lincolnshire. Secondly, we wanted to say a big thank you for the kindness and support they showed to our amazing and inspirational friend, Jules King, who sadly died at the Hospice.
