If you are donating upholstered furniture to our store, there must be a fire label firmly attached or sewn into each item you donate. By law, we cannot sell upholstered furniture in our stores without a fire label, and our van drivers will reject items without them.

Gift Aid Declaration

Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give as cash or raised from the sale of a donated item sold by us, we can claim an extra 25p from His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.

I want St Barnabas to claim Gift Aid on this donation and any donations in the future. I agree that St Barnabas Hospice Shops ltd. can act as a selling agent for the goods I have donated and may donate in the future. I will pay an amount of UK income and/or capital gains tax, or at least the amount of tax St Barnabas claims on my donations, in the appropriate year. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less income tax/capital gain tax than the Gift Aid amount claimed on my donations in that tax year, it is my responsibility to pay the difference.

I do not pay sufficient income or capital gains tax to claim Gift Aid.
